About TinyOutlines
TinyOutlines makes free printable coloring pages that are genuinely a pleasure to print and color. Every puppy, rocket, unicorn, and mandala here is made to hold up on an ordinary home printer and to feel satisfying to fill in — whether that hand belongs to a three-year-old just learning to hold a crayon or a grown-up unwinding at the end of the day.

The teacher behind the pages
TinyOutlines is created by Sana Iftikhar, an arts and crafts teacher who has spent nearly twenty years in early-years classrooms. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Karachi and has taught the pre-junior and junior sections at schools including The Educators, the Army Public School and College System — where she served as a head teacher — and, currently, The City Nursery (TCN). In 2018 she completed professional teacher training through the Educational Resource Development Center (ERDC).
Across all those years her subject has stayed the same: helping small children make things with their hands. That is exactly what a coloring page is for. Creative lesson plans and boundless energy are, in her own words, her hallmarks — and there is still no better feeling for her than watching a child finally get it.
Why I built TinyOutlines
After years of hunting for printable coloring sheets for my own classroom, I kept running into the same problem. So many "free" pages online look lovely as thumbnails but print as faint, broken, or impossibly fiddly lines — the kind that fall apart the moment a young child picks up a crayon. Others were far too detailed for little hands, or quietly asked you to sign up before you could print a single sheet.
I knew from the classroom what actually works: bold, clean outlines, plenty of open space, and pages matched to a child's age and stage. So I started drawing the pages I wished I could just download — and TinyOutlines grew out of that. Everything here is free, with no sign-up, because every parent, teacher, and rainy-afternoon babysitter deserves a page that is genuinely worth printing.
How the pages are made
Each page is drawn on purpose, not churned out in bulk. It starts as a simple idea, becomes clean and uniform line art, and is checked against one honest test before it goes live: is it actually fun to color, and can a real child's hand fill it in? Pages are grouped by theme and by difficulty so you can match them to the age you are printing for. There is a closer look at that process in Behind the Page.
What you'll find here
Four growing collections — Animals, Vehicles, Fantasy, and Mandalas — plus a practical blog covering printing tips, supplies, and clever ways to use finished pages. Everything is free, family-friendly, and made to be printed at home. The site is supported by advertising so the pages can stay free for everyone.
